Digital landscape paintings

The first few landscape paintings done in Krita. I talked about Krita in the Depot Dogs post. It’s an open source digital painting program, that is used with a graphics tablet.

These first few paintings are done on top of original biro drawings, as can be seen in the timelapse videos, linked in the captions. The colours are chosen from the background, hence the monochrome look. In some cases the colours are later ‘turned’ using the Gimp, also an open source program, and a must have for many image manipulation purposes.
